乐录 3月(2)

三月最后一日,就听舒伯特吧。

ymoon's selection:

Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828) ,the first lyric poet of music.

Symphony No. 8 (unfinished)
I: Allegro moderato

Schumann 这么写他 :'His soul being steeped in music, he put down notes when another man would resort to words. '

这首 Symphony No. 8 (unfinished)

I: Allegro moderato

II: Andante con moto

是舒伯特未完成的乐章, 夹着他悲凉的故事:

By 1820,of more than 500 works that he had composed, only 2 had been heard in public.......The lack of recognition began to bite hard . Living in obscurity, with no money and relying on the charity of friends, made him increasingly despondent. Added to this, he had to cope with the effects of syphilis. 'Each night when i go to sleep,' wrote Schubert,' I hope never again to waken, and every morning reopens the wounds of yesterday.' Yet in the midst of this his intrisically sunny disposition shines through, for in 1822 he began (amongst many other works) his Symphony No.8 in B minor -- begun but never finished--one of his most beautiful creation......
